Fulmore's Dual Language Program

Fulmore Middle School is proud to offer Spanish Dual Language Programming. Dual Language wil be an extension of Fulmore's Mission, "To provide educational opportunities that inspire global thinking and social responsibility." We are pleased to support the Austin ISD Dual Language Program where students will reach the goals of being biliterate, bicultural, and bilingual.

In Fulmore's 2016-2017 Dual Language Program, students are taking the following courses:

• Sixth Grade: Mathematics in Spanish and Spanish One for Spanish Speakers
• Seventh Grade: Science in Spanish and Spanish Two for Spanish Speakers
• Eighth Grade: U.S. History in Spanish and Advanced Placement Spanish

Fulmore has offered Advanced Placement Spanish and Spanish for Spanish speakers to our students for over ten years. We are prepared to implement Dual Language successfully to our community.

 

How to Apply:

To apply for the Fulmore's Dual Language Program for the 2016-2017 school year, please complete an application and return it to the Fulmore Middle School main office. Applications are available for download below, or may be picked up in the Fulmore Middle School main office.

Why Fulmore?

Fulmore offers a wide variety of courses and programs to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. Located on historic South Congress Avenue, just down the street from the Texas capitol, Fulmore serves approximately 1,000 students in grades six, seven, and eight. Highlights of Fulmore include:

All core content courses (Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts) are available at grade-level or pre-advanced placement.

• Advanced course offerings include: Algebra I, Geometry, 6th and 7th grade Advanced Math, and Advanced Placement Spanish.
• Fun and exciting curriculum that is infused with Creative Learning Strategies.
• Social Emotional Learning curriculum through our Advisory Program.
• Elective strands include: Law, Fine Arts, Literary Expression, Film & Video, Foreign Language, and Cultural Anthropology.
• After school programming with a wide variety of unique clubs offerings.
